Defeat the healthcare bill

Six no votes was all it would have taken to defeat this bill yesterday. If this doesn't show everyone that this is an unpopular effort to diminish your freedom of choice, then you have no clue about what is going to happen if the Senate passes this bill. It will bankrupt the US and tax the middle class into poverty.

now what?

Obama, Geithener, Dodd, Frank all lied about not knowing about the AIG bonuses. More Congressional officials did too, although they haven't been exposed yet. The whole "stimulus bill" and the TARP programs are lies also. None of this is being put in place to help America, it's to hurt the stock market, free enterprise, corporations, and small businesses. The plan is to make the country sink into a deep dark hole, make it impossible for anyone to work their way out, and put the entire American population under the thumb of the government. It truly amazes me that so many people don't get it! Listen to Barney Frank for two minutes....who in the hell voted for this idiot! Get wise people! The more elected time you give them in the House and Senate, the more they solidify their position and get the top legislative committee positions which DIRECTLY influence what happens to you! The lies are starting at the top...ie White House...and trickling down....to you...the ultimate loser in all of this.

I don't need Obama

Last nights Obama "infommercial" was another depressing piece of drivel from the Democratic Party. Does he truly think he is the "Messiah"? That he can save us from all that he thinks is wrong with the country? Unfortunately, he spotlighted a group of people who seem not to have a clue how to live. How many tv's, cell phones, computers, i-pods, swimming pools, cars, etc. do these people have? That wasn't mentioned. Who's doing rent to own or payday loans? Who is not handling their finances correctly? My family and I live on what we make. In this "horrible economy" we are making it and making it work. My 401(k) lost 1/3 of it's value, but I'm still invested in the market. We managed, in the last two years, to pay off all our credit cards, our car (SUV), our $5,000 plus medical bills, save for retirement, save for our daughter's college, go on vacation and buy everything we needed. All on a gross income of under $70,000. We have 2 computers, 4 tv's, cell phones, pets, and a home. And, most importantly, a budget. We're fine, and don't need Obama. We make to much for welfare in any form, and don't need any more taxation. We both work for very small businesses (under 10 employees) that will suffer under the Obama plan, and will probably ruin our current health care plan and maybe cost us our jobs.
No thanks.
